High Tea @ The Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge & Restaurant

WeEeeeeeee~ finally managed to meet up Jolene for a short chat @ Takashimaya. As i was going to meet Dearie up after his work to have dinner, so i decided to head-down to town to wait for him.
By the time i reached there, it was almost tea-time!!!! As both me and Jolene was feeling slightly hungry as we both didnt have proper lunch.... I suggested that we go for High-Tea @ The Royal Copenhagen Tea lounge and Restaurant!!! 
The place was CRAZILY PACKED!! But we were lucky enough to get seats for 2 by the window~! 
As it was both our first time there, we screened through the menu carefully to pick what to eat. We chose the Chef's recommendation - Chocolate Explosion (which we totally have no idea what it is) and SCONES !!!! I've been craving for scones for ages ;D Loveee to butter it and yummy jam & LIGHT WHIPPED CREAM! Then we choose to have a pot of Darjeeling tea for me & UA tea for Jolene.
The teapots and cups are soo adorableee and lovely!!! And it reminds me of my childhood especially. I recalled having high-tea @ 4pm everyday since i was a child. My mom will make mini cupcakes or buttered toast with jam, yummy ham/egg sandwiches and a pot of Earl Grey tea with her beautiful tea set. Mom was very into porcelain sets. If i am not wrong, she has a few Royal Copenhagen tea sets and tablewear. I didn't appreciate it in the past~ awww, sorrie mommie. :/
BACK TO THE FOOD PART: THE CHOCOLATE EXPLOSION IS AMAZINGLY GOOD!!!!!!!! Its warm chocolate cake with chocolate sauce fillings, topped with chopped fresh mangoes, grapes, kiwis and strawberries and premium hazelnut vanilla ICECREAM!!!!!!!!!!!! it costs only S$12.90 which is awesomely cheap for a dessert that not just looks appealing but deliciously good too! Then came my scones, which was baked just right. Not too soft and not too dry. yummyyyy~~
Jolene loved the food soo much, we are planning to go back Royal Copenhagen again for Late Lunch date and then tea. But this time, we will bring Apple along cos its been really aeons since the trio get together. Also, their Viking sausages and Smoked Salmon looks really appealing too! MUST TRY!
And i soo regret i didn't bring my camera out!!! T___T
